Savory and rich, ‘LA SALITA’ mimics the best of the northern Rhône Syrahs with aromas of slate, dark plum, and violet floral notes. Tense and tightly-wound, this wine has a long life ahead of it, and would be a great candidate for the cellar. Open and decant well ahead of service while the wine is young, or allow it plenty of time to open in the glass. Herb roasted lamb on a bed of warm bitter greens would make for a hearty winter pairing.
